GATE 2026 – Important Guidelines

  • Photograph Requirement: Candidate’s face must cover at least 75% of the photo area. Upload a recent passport-size color photograph with a white background and clear visibility.
  • Signature Specification: Draw a rectangular box (2 cm × 7 cm) on plain A4 sheet. Sign neatly within the box using black or blue ink pen in running handwriting.
  • Thumb Impression Instruction: Draw a rectangular box (3 cm × 5 cm) on A4 sheet. Place your left thumb impression clearly inside the box using ink.
